Italian Cultural Institutes
Every Italian Cultural Institute gives scholarships an special
reduction on the course fees for the summer period to interested students
who qualify according to criteria established by each Institute.
Students must contact directly the nearest Italian Cultural Institute
in order to have all the necessary information about the scholarships in Florence.

Italian Foreign Office
Students benefiting from a scholarship from the Italian Foreign Office
have a 50% reduction on the tuition fees of Italian, Art history, Italian
culture and fine arts courses offered by the Istituto Michelangelo.
In order to benefit from the scholarship, students need to present
a request to the Scholarship Office of the Istituto Michelangelo.

Italian citizens living abroad
Italian citizens living abroad have the possibility to obtain a 20%
reduction on all fees for the Standard Italian language courses, art history, Italian
culture, and academic art classes during the months of January, February,
March, April, September, October, November and December.
In order to obtain the scholarship the student must present official
proof of his/ her status.

Scholarships for University Students
University students taking a degree in Italian studies (Italianistica),
language, art history and fine arts can obtain a scholarship (partial reduction of 25%
on the fees) for the Italian language, art history, Italian culture and
fine art courses offered by the Istituto Michelangelo.
This request, together with a letter of recommendation by a University
or College teacher, can be presented to the Scholarship Office of the
Institute.
