The Senior 50+ courses are in function all year round for periods of 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks and are open
to mature people who would like to combine an Italian language course in
Florence to a rewarding first-hand experience of Italian life, culture and
customs.
The Italian language classes of the morning are combined with a
special senior program that includes guided tours, day trips to other cities in Tuscany and Italy, eating out at restaurants, cooking lessons and evenings at the
theatre and at concerts.
The Senior Program takes place also on public holidays and religious festivities
● Italian language classes (09:00 - 13:00 / Monday
to Friday)
Participants in the "Seniors Courses" are divided into 6 levels from beginners to
advanced. The language program includes 2 hours of
progression and 2 hours of conversation.
● Day trips on Sunday
Each Sunday an excursion is organised to a place of artistic
interest or of scenic beauty in Tuscany and in Central Italy: Siena, Pisa , Assisi, Chianti, 5 Terre......
● Italian coooking course
It takes place in the well-furnished kitchen of the Institute
under the guidance of an expert. Each lesson finishes with lunch.
● Guided Tours on Saturday
They are guided by the history of art teacher in the most
interesting monuments in Florence.
